In ‘Thinning the Veil’ at Malahide Castle, six contemporary artists reflect on how monuments are viewed in contemporary Ireland. The exhibition examines the transition of Malahide Castle from a private family home to a public attraction, considering the castle as a site with layered histories and colonial entanglements. Exhibiting artists include Susan Buttner, Ann Ensor, Elaine Grainger, Michelle Hall, Deborah Hewson and Laura Skehan.
