The Grilse Gallery, Killorglin presents ‘Saoirse’, an exhibition of work by Tadhg McSweeney (1936–2018). A graduate of the National College of Art and Design, McSweeney later studied printing, etching and screenprinting in London and exhibited regularly in Dublin, Cork and internationally. Alongside his print practice, McSweeney worked in oils, watercolour and, on occasion, fresco. A figurative artist, he was inspired by his environment and his own experiences.
