‘Home’, an exhibition of Grace Vaughan’s paintings of Kenmare, takes place at the Mill Cove Gallery as part of the Kenmare Arts Festival. The festival programme includes a ‘Windows Exhibition’ throughout the town, and ‘Excellence in Irish Ceramics’, showcasing Irish artistry. At the Carnegie Arts Centre, Jo Ashby’s paintings show views of Devon, Cornwall, Sherkin Island and the Kerry coast. A ‘Poets meet Painters’ competition invites submissions of unpublished original poems, responding to a selection of artworks on the festival’s website.
