West Cork-based artist Aisling Roche uses her experience as a snorkeller to create a distinct visual perspective in ceramic, painting and photography in her exhibition ‘Tides’ at the Grilse Gallery, Killorglin. Her art represents the memories, dreams and the world of water. Says Roche: ‘The work allows my ideas to evolve: during the process, recognition allows the unconscious to exert itself.’
