Lorcan Walshe’s ‘The Artefacts Project’ at the Hunt Museum showcases the art of ancient Christian Ireland, in particular bells, croziers and book shrines. Walshe’s work represents the latest transformation of the objects – reworked in pencil and paper, and oil on copper and canvas. Three 9th-century bells from the Hunt Collection feature in the exhibition.
