Turner Prize-nominated artist George Shaw exhibits at Limerick City Gallery of Art (LCGA). His show ‘Nothing Strange or Startling’ includes a piece made specifically for LCGA. Known for his depictions of banal suburban spaces, Shaw is interested in the quiet presences of human life. In the artist’s paintings, graffiti, litter and architecture create an eerie sense of someone else being there.
