Clare Scott’s ‘Surge’ forms part of the APS Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale in Malta. Responding to the theme ‘Mediterranean Goddesses’, Scott uses discarded shipping pallets and found wood from the surrounding area to create a rising form, inspired by the Neolithic Maltese figure of the ‘Sleeping Lady’.
