Shane Hynan’s project, ‘Beneath | Beofhód’, at The Source Arts Centre, Thurles examines the social, cultural and historical importance of peat bogs in the Irish midlands. Hynan traces the transition from industrial harvesting to ecological conservation, looking at community identity and the evolving value of these landscapes.
