Sam Keogh’s exhibition ‘Sated Soldier, Sated Peasant, Sated Scribe’ at Goldsmiths CCA explores the contradictory elements of the mythical land of Cockaigne where food is abundant, work has been abolished, and sexuality liberated. His piece comprises performance, an installation of ceramic sculptures and collaged paintings on paper that draw on pre-modern motifs.
