‘Colours of the Wind: Ariadne’s Thread’, an exhibition of recent works by Anne Madden shows at Dublin City Gallery The Hugh Lane. Madden’s new work is inspired by the Greek goddess Ariadne whose love for Theseus saved him from death by the Cretan Minotaur. For Madden, myth opens doors to notional places and, in this work, Ariadne weaves her golden thread  through celestial spaces. An exhibition of Madden’s work will also show at the Taylor Galleries.
