The Molesworth Gallery showcases Catherine Barron’s employment of alternative materials, such as salvaged metal plates, twelve-inch Bakelite records, old book covers and vintage photographs for her unique artwork. Exploring her personal history and telling the story of her family from the 1950s, Barron incorporates the objects into her self-portraits and allegorical paintings.
