The Irish Georgian Society hosts work by Adrienne Symes at the City Assembly House depicting the gardens and demesnes of Irish country houses. The paintings and etchings in ‘Follies, Ruins and Monuments of Ireland’ explore the picturesque and utilitarian histories of the estates, their history of decline and decay, and what has survived in the landscape.
