The Kilkenny Arts Festival 2006 will open with an exhibition that promises a new perspective on the drama and diversity of international ceramic art. The Ceramics Ireland International Exhibition is hosted by the Crafts Council of Ireland and curated by Tina Byrne. It runs from 11 August to 12 October at the National Craft Gallery, Kilkenny, as part of Féile Cré (Festival of Clay), a partnership between Ceramics Ireland and the International Ceramic Festival, Aberystwyth, Wales
