Iraqi-Kurdish artist Hiwa K’s exhibition ‘Do you remember what you are burning?’ at the Hugh Lane Gallery draws on familial anecdotes and personal experience, infused with humour, to examine ideas of estrangement, neoliberalism and the impact of prolonged conflicts on and in Iraq. A collaboration between three institutions, the exhibition will also appear in Dubai and Toronto.
