Hilary Morley previews ‘Bricks in the Rain’, an exhibition of contemporary art forms inspired by China to be shown at Farmleigh Gallery this August

After much careful planning and meetings around the globe, a group of ceramic artists was invited by the Fule International Ceramic Art Museum, Shaanxi, China to spend a month there making a collection destined to become a permanent display of Irish ceramic art in China.
Thirteen artists in all participated in the project: Tina Byrne, Elaine Riordan, Frances Lambe, Sara Flynn, Alex Scott, Kathleen Standen, Neil Read, Mandy Parslow, Peter Fulop, Sinead Glynn, Kathleen Moroney, Laura O’Hagan and Michael Moore.
