Úna McCarthy selects Old Thomond Bridge, and Beautiful Mouth by Alice Maher from Limerick City Gallery of Art’s Permanent Collection

Limerick City Gallery of Art’s (LCGA) permanent collection consists of almost 1,000 artworks, from over 400 artists in a wide variety of media and styles, dating from the 18th century to the present. The main focus of the collection is Irish or Irish-related in character, with fine examples of work by leading Irish artists of all periods. The collection also includes the National Collection of Contemporary Drawing, and the Michael O’Connor International Poster Collection consisting of ca 3,000 works of international graphic design.
