William Crozier’s art is bold: bold in colour and bold in character. For generations artists have portrayed this island in shades of slate grey, earth brown and a myriad of greens. In comparison, Crozier’s palette is almost indecently exotic. It takes courage to paint West Cork in a symphony of magenta, orange and cadmium yellow.
